Dan is a Whistler local who shaped his life around snowboarding. Whenever he;s not working or spending time with his daughter he's riding his home resort in Whistler whether its in the park or his favourite when there's powder to be found and find new lines to ride on the resort. Barker can also style some tricks off backcountry jumps accessed with his snowmobile in the Whistler backcountry. When the snow melts Dan skates the skatepark or wake skates on the nearby lakes.
Dan has been entering Freeride contest and banked slalom races in the past years and did really well by earning several podiums spots. To say he's fast and solid on his board would be an understatement.
