Mia started snowboarding at just 15 months old at Sunshine Village in Banff, Alberta. By age four, she
was training with Riders on Board in Calgary, where she spent four years developing her skills and
competing in GROM events. At eight years old, she moved to Vancouver Island and joined the Coast
Club’s competitive program, where she raced in the BC Provincial Series and Junior Nationals for three
seasons.
In 2024/2025, Mia split her training between the Coast Club and Whistler Valley before moving to
Squamish in fall 2025 to train full-time with the Whistler Valley Junior Development Program, riding four

When I’m not snowboarding, I’m usually racing BMX, training in gymnastics, or spending time outside
mountain biking, running, wakeboarding, or wakesurfing. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had so
far, and I’m excited to keep growing, competing, and sharing my love for snowboarding.
