Sofia started on snow at 1.5 years old with skiing, then switched to snowboarding at age five. With a dad who skis and a mom who snowboards, life in Pemberton has kept her on the mountains since day one. She now trains with the Whistler Valley Program on weekends, loves competing in banked slaloms and enjoys exploring different terrain, focusing on improving technique and enjoying the mountains.
