Biography
My name is Joel Loverin, I’m from Kelowna bc and have now spent half my life in whistler. I moved here to snowboard and start riding backcountry and have been a professional for quite some time now, more known for my big mountain descents.
I was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan November 15, 1984 and moved to Kelowna at 5 years old. I started snowboarding around 7-8 years old and was competing by 11 and started getting sponsors.
My focus changed to backcountry free riding at 20 years old when I moved to Whistler and bought my first sled, since then I’ve traveled all over British Columbia and Alaska riding some of the most beautiful peaks.
I live a very active lifestyle, riding bikes everyday wether it’s the bike park or for a peddle in the sea to sky area. If not on a peddle bike I’m riding a dirtbike at the motocross track and to slow things down I’ll be on a river or lake with my fly rod.
